What is the strangest food you have ever eaten? Every country has foods that seem strange to outsiders. When I was in Mexico I was served with chapulines. Chapulines, or better known as grasshoppers. When they wrapped in a corn tortilla they taste like a crunchy snack and they are an excellent protein source. The Chinese eat bird nest soup actually made from the nests of the White-nest Swiftlet (Aerodramus Fuciphagus). The British have their own collection of unusual foods that other nationalities find it weird although often only the names of the dishes are unusual. Like the spotted dick is a pudding and the Pork Pie Ice Cream sundae. Which is made instead of ice cream, there’s barbecue pulled pork, cheese, BBQ sauce and mashed potatoes. YUMM!!
