Braids are back and hitting the hair fashion scene again! Whether long and loose or the slick tight version, braids are high in trend. Braids are passed on for many generations and surely they can never go wrong. Trends may come and go but the classics stays forever. Hair braiding has been around since 3000 BC and is originated in ancient Egypt and Africa. The Egyptians used to wear their hair short on a casual day. On special occasions, however, Egyptians had been known to wear black wigs. The women, not only had long hair wigs, they also had their wigs braided and decorated with ivory and gold.

Hair braids come in all shapes, sizes and styles such as fabric braids, pigtail braids. For spring 2016 we expect the slick tight version braid, which was spotted on the latest runways.  A very popular style is the bohemian style braid. There are many styles you can choose from, like for example romantic loose braided style combined with beautiful beach waves. They are subtle and very attractive for medium and long haircuts.
